Kai Lani Catamaran is now offering specially priced School Field trips from Slip 49 Clearwater Beach Marina. These trips are designed to expose the students to the rich natural history and biological diversity/wildlife that exists right here in our own Clearwater Beach.

All the trips will be done on a U.S. Coast Guard Certified 50' Sailing Catamaran that will tour the Gulf of Mexico entirely under sail (wind allowing). With a capacity of 49 passengers. the vessel makes an ideal classroom and the kids can all take a turn at driving this high performance sailing vessel.

Kai Lani Cat starts on its own Wildlife Discovery Cruise, sailing towards Sand Key, under the Sand Key Bridge and into the Gulf of Mexico where Dolphins, Tarpon, Sea Turtles and many sea birds are known to reside. With no engine noise, Kai Lani Catamaran is able to get much closer to the critters without spooking them.

Kai Lani Cat has been doing these type of cruises since 1992, We can take out an entire area school of hundred's of parents and kids in a "round robin" type of schedule divided between a Wild Life Cruise, tour of the Aquarium and Museum, fun time on Pier 60 (very popular) and lunch. The unique experiences of sailing and exposure to the marine environment are ones that will always be remembered by the students.
