Reservation and Charter Policies
Call ahead - you can make reservations as far ahead as you like, or on the spur of the moment. We will hold your reservation using a Visa or MasterCard and will not charge your credit card until the time of your reservation. When you arrive, you can opt to use another form of payment, such as cash or travelers checks. We are closed on Wednesdays.
TICKET AND BOARDING INFORMATION
Please arrive at the Clearwater Beach Marina departure point at least 30 minutes prior to the departure time of your confirmed reservation.
PARKING AND CHECKIN INFORMATION
Parking is available at the Clearwater Beach Marina. Please plan your time accordingly to accommodate time for unexpected traffic and locating a parking space. Parking is for guests of vessels in the marina or restaurants only and requires a pass code to park longer than 30 minutes. Kai Lani Catamaran will provide all reservation holders with the pass code on the day of their cruise. WARNING: Weekends, Holidays and seasonal traffic and parking can be very busy, do plan an additional hour and a half during these periods if you are driving.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
No refunds will be issued for reservations. Please note that failure to show for the reserved trip will result in no refund. Your credit card will be charged.
WEATHER REFUND POLICY
Captain humbly requests flexibility to adjust the sail time to accommodate the cruise around the weather. Kai Lani catamaran will only offer refunds for an excursion cancelled or shortened due to adverse weather, acts of God, or events not within the reasonable control of Kai Lani Catamaran. Cancellations by client with a paid reservation are subject to forfeiture of all paid fees and taxes. Kai Lani Catamaran reserves the right to cancel due to inclement weather at the discretion of the Captain and should this occur a full refund would be offered to the client.
PRIVATE CHARTER DEPOSITS
Half amount is required upon booking and the whole amount before departure on the day of the charter. We recommend making the reservation in advance to reserve the your special date. However, do not hesitate to call us if you decide on "last minute" private charters based on daily availability of other bookings.
CATERING REFUND POLICY
Reservations for Charters with CATERING require additionally the FULL AMOUNT for FOOD and if charter is cancelled and the requested provisions had been already purchased. The cost of food is non refundable.
We ask the CHARTER ORGANIZER TO COMMUNICATE KINDLY TO THE GUESTS TO ABSTAIN FROM WEARING DARK OR BLACK SOLED SHOES. However we do allow boat shoes, light colored soled shoes, flip flops, or simply bearfoot. If your guest does not wear approved shoes we will require the customer taking them off and store them below their seat.
KAI LANI CATAMARAN PRIVATE BOOKING POLICY
The act of booking Kai Lani Catamaran means the customer accepts all policies published by Kai Lani and agrees to pay the amount of the Charter Agreement signed by the represenative of the booking for the charter. No show ups will be charged the full amount of charter plus Florida tax.
